Roller Blinds

Design, quality and excellent customer service is at the heart of everything we do therefore all of our Roller Blinds are made to measure to a very high standard.

Our stylish roller blinds come with a choice of brackets and bottom bars along with pelmets and head boxes. The standard colours are very on trend but they can also be powder coated to match your window design or decor.

With thousands of fabrics to choose from we will spend time helping you find the ones that are perfect for your project.

With the current trend for family rooms with walls of windows and doors, a popular option is motorised screen fabric roller blinds. These rooms can get very hot when the sun shines so the fabrics have been specifically designed to reduce heat and glare. The fabrics range from sheer to blackout and to emphasise their effectiveness a 10% weave will be almost sheer but will reduce up to 90% of the heat and glare.

Roller blinds also make a perfect accompaniment to curtains providing total control over light and privacy at all times of day. This is especially important in bedrooms.

Its all in the design!

Our extensive range of contemporary roller blinds will undoubtedly complement your style and decor.

Soft Furnishing Design specialise in motorisation and concealment. All of our roller blinds can be operated by either mains or battery power and can be controlled by a wall switch, a remote control, your home AV system or home hub via an app on your phone or simply by saying “hey Alexa, close the blinds”.

The battery motor can last approximately 6 – 9 months of normal use between charges, adding a solar charger can extend that time considerably.

Heat sensor can close the blinds if a room gets too hot, protecting your floors, furniture and artwork.

A timer will open and close the blind at times you specify, you can also operate the blinds remotely via the app.

If we are able to consult on a project early your dedicated designer will work with your architect, interior designer and contractors, providing detailed product information and wiring diagrams that can be incorporated in to the design.

They can also devise bespoke ways of installing the blinds inside Blindspace® boxes in the ceiling and window void, providing a completely minimalist look. You only see the blinds when you need them.

These options certainly generate the wow factor but need to be incorporated in to the design at an early stage.
